Just acknowledging what is often gone as unnoticed

Dear Takealot,

I have dealt with your service consultants a few times before. I know that often people are not acknowledged for their positive attitude or extra input in multiple ways. I phoned in just now to enquire about an order. I just thought I would let you know that Shiefa was helpful and very friendly, even when working on a Saturday.

She also apologised on behalf of Takealot for the call being cut the first time even though I didn't get through to a consultant. Often people in sales or even in after sales support don't want to apologise or be understanding, something which costs them nothing but consoles the customer. I am speaking in general here. So I am glad to see that Shiefa was what I would consider, an experienced consultant, having myself quite a bit of experience in after sales support.

I think that the efficiency of the sales and support process leads to customer loyalty and ultimately customers marketing a business - which to me is the ultimate marketing tool.

Lastly please check that order confirmations and payment reminders inform customers to use the order ID as beneficiary reference, as new customers might not know.
