Account Closure Request - No response

On 25/08/13 I paid the R35 I owed. I sent an email with all the relevant information (account #, ID # etc) requesting my TFG account to be closed with immediate effect. I have not received a response. On the 04/09/13 I resent the email no response received as yet. on 06/09/13 I went into Fashion Express (Goodwood Mall) and asked the Sales gentleman to check whether the account was closed, he called to find out, only for them to inform that they will put a block on my account & only after 7 days will the account be closed. I explained to him that I had requested this account to be closed on 25/08/13 already, which should have been closed already if one had to wait 7 days! What if I was tempted to buy & then at the end of the month I could not pay the instalment??? I suppose I am then guaranteed a phone call to say I have not made a payment!! Please close this account with immediate effect & remove from my profile.
