I have been a loyal Truworths customer for over 10 years, NOT ONCE have my account been paid late because I have a debit order in place. This morning someone from Durban phoned me, saying my account is in arrears. Her English was so bad, I couldn't exactly figure out what she was saying. Later this morning, I received an SMS saying my account is in arrears. I phoned customer services, after holding for longer than 10minutes someone picks up. I told him it is IMPOSSIBLE for my account to be in arrears becasue the amounts gets debited monthly on the 6th, midway through my explanation the call gets dropped. I phoned again, after 15min no one picks up, I have also phoned their direct number in Cape Town, no answer. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. I have spend thousands of rands in Truworths but after this bad service I will close my account and take my business elsewhere.
