Daily I am harassed by their collections department! I have an arraignment with Truworths to pay off my account, as it was in arrears due to circumstances beyond my control. I pay the amount diligently each month but despite this I am constantly phoned by their collections department threatening to list me on ITC and I receive threats via SMSs every day threatening me, I also receive up to 6 letters a week. I laid a complaint with the Consumer Council and after reviewing the facts they advised me to get a restraining order against Truworths. As I have not been able to do this, this harassment continues everyday. Their collections agency tell me that they are legally allowed to conduct themselves in this manner. As I am honoring my agreement with them, I consider them to be in breach of this agreement/contract.
