I took my daughter for a quick breakfast at the restaurant (before a shopping trip for her birthday). The only obscure thing ordered was - crispy bacon. After a 35 minute wait I asked the waitress what the hold up was - apparently it was because the bacon needed to be crispy!!! (the restaurant at this stage was practically empty). I asked by minute 40 to speak to the manager - it took a good 30 minutes for the manager to put in an appearance - after having initially sent someone in her place. When the omelet arrived the bacon inside was watery and inedible AND RAW - after waiting 40 minutes for crispy bacon. My daughters bacon was so crispy it was almost inedible. After another request the manager eventually put in an appearance and asked if the food could be replaced - by this stage my daughter had already finished eating her food and a quick stop for breakfast had turned into an hour saga.
I spend approximately R800 a week in this particular restaurant - not anymore.
