I December I went into Trappers Northgate and they had a Salomon Amphibian 3 shoes on special for R899. I tried their last pair of size 10s and as I did up the lace, it broke. They phoned around and no other branch had any. So they said that they will send it to HQ for the lace to be replaced. But this will only happen in the new year. I agreed and gave them all my detail. Today, 24/01/13 I phoned to find out what was going on. They informed me that they managed to repair the shoe in store, how I don't know, and sold it to someone else. They said that they can order me another pair but the price will be the full price. I think this is very bad practice on their side.
