ENGAGEMENT RING

Purchased ring on the 4th Aug, were i was told that it can be resized to her size of I 1/2, By NWJ member. Proposed on the 17th Aug. Took the ring with my fiance on the 25 Aug to NWJ to get it resized. The manager had served us and looked on the PC to check if it can be resized and he tells us that it cant. He asked the worker who served us and she says another person was checking on the system. Now they tell us that they have to see if it can get sized, it might take 8 weeks. this worker was smiling as if it was ok to do what she did. This is not work Ethical. This manager needs to inform his staff and train them much better. This is really unacceptable. We might have to choose another ring which is really ridiculous, and its not a few Hundreds we talking about, this is really upsetting, we've been told we will get contacted, in 2 days its day 3 and we heard nothing, i had to call the manager to ask.. How do we go about solving this problem?
