House and Home - Won't exchange goods

Goodday Peter, on Tuesday, 11 December 2012 we bought a Samsung 51" HD 3D Plasma TV from House and Home Nelspruit and paid cash for it. We received the TV in good order, installed it and watched it before we left on holiday from 14 December 2012 up to 3 January 2013. On our arrival back home we watched TV as normal and last week noticed that the TV has 2 lines running horizontally through the screen when it is on for about 3-7 hours. Sometimes the lines will run accross the screen and other times just be standing in one place. We contacted House and Home and asked if the TV could be replaced or our money handed back to us. They insisted that we hand in the TV for repairs. Sorry, we DO NOT want it repaired. We want it replaced or our money back (cash as we paid for it). According to House and Home they contacted Samsung who advised them to send the TV in for repairs. We are extremely unhappy about this as the TV has hardly been used by us. We insist on it being replaced or our money back (immediately not waiting for reply back from Samsung)
