I have been buying Milk and Cheese at the Cheese shop for a while now, have referred all my friends to go there because their milk used to be R5.20 per Lr, and they have had two price increases lately, but the advertising board for the milk displayed outside, has been changed to reflect this.
However, the Cheese Advert boldly and clearly reads R49.95 per kilo, but is actually priced R56.95 on the actual cheese per kilo.
I mentioned this to the cashier, who kindly called paul, to explain my discontent at their misleading advertising. Paul then advised the cashier to contact bjorn, which was clearly a delaying tactic, but ultimately left the dilemma with the cashier, who was alone in the store, to deal with my complaint. This is misleading advertising and is deceptive, since customers who buy regularly just walk in and take the cheese without checking the price. I have pics to back up my complaint.
