My son took his R 2 500 Wilson racquet to be strung on Sunday morning 4th August. He brought his own strings in as well. On collection, the gentleman on duty doing the stringing had got the tension wrong and had badly cracked and damaged the racquet!! We were offered a replacement racquet from the shop... Mr Price does not carry a racquet above a? R650. My son is trying to get a tennis scholarship to the States and is in his final year at Paul Roos Gymnasium, this clearly would not be a good enough substitute. We were happy to be refunded and source the same racquet. He was sent from pillar to post with the promise that this would happen, but when we finally went to collect we were told the Regional and opps manager had refused to comply. This is disgusting, as a perfectly good racquet was dropped off and a broken unstrung racquet collected!! What now???
