After having a few bad experiences at Spar Bromhof, I decided to drive a little further to go to the Spar in Northwold. In the beginning it was great, no problems, but then they employed a JackA$$ supervisor like the one they had at Bromhof who actually overrides the rules of good customer service that they wouldn't want their staff to do. Makes you think, doesn't it. I guess supervisors at Spar have carte blanche to do as they please - even the customers off.
And as far as their FRESH produce is concerned - give them a wide berth - Avocadoes that are pitch black inside and onions that are brown and mouldy inside - and for that you pay and upon complaining to the owner/manager your get told "it's that woman with the ponytail, she's there by the take-away, do you want to speak to her". Didn't anyone tell this JackA$$ that's not the way to handle a complaint?
So, 2 Spars down and counting - there's still the one at Bel-Air to try out, or perhaps I should just give Spar a total miss since I don't get like this at Pick 'n Pay or Checkers.
