Why should i pay for delivery

I bought a cloud nine in December for myself ive been using the flat iron with out a problem until recently i heard a funny sound coming from the flat iron its been happening nw for two weeks so i decide to take it back to the salon i bought it from. The salon has now advised that i have to pay R300 for delivery if they repair my flat iron .even though i have a guarentee on the flat iron for 2 years i mean its a new thing. I had a GHD before an never had a problem with i want to no why i should pay for the delivery fee if its still a new thing its not suppose to give me problems if it still brand new
