I ordered a Gobii e-Reader online on 25 July 2013. Despite the 24 hour delivery promise, I received it on the 30th. Unfortunately it turned out to be faulty - switched on to a German screen with no menu buttons working. I called the problem in on the 31st and the product was collected the next day. However, it was only received by the returns department on 5 August and then sent for assessment - a process that has now been ongoing for a week! What's to assess? As soon as you switch it on, the fault is rather obvious! I paid for it upfront, I never used it, did not break it, but to date I am the one out of pocket with no Gobii.
Today I complained and within minutes after my telephone conversation, the Returns Department decided to refund me! I guess that is easier than dealing with a complaining customer.
Unfortunately, my first [URL Removed] experience causes me to rethink any further dealings with this company.
