Mr Price Home
Defamation

As a regular customer of Mr Price Home, I bought goods on the 9th of August 2013 at 15:15. On the 10th of August 2013, I received a conference call from Standard Bank, ABSA and Mr Price Home. I was accused of of an unknown client's goods on the 9th of August 2013. I was not aware of any such deeds, but the assistant kept on telling me that they caught me on the in-store cameras. It was extremely humiliating, as the two guys from both banks, listened in to the content of this call. I immediately went to the shop and demanded to see the shots on the in-store camera. At first my entrance to the back office was refused, but I demanded to go in. There was no sign of me on the cameras, as my transaction took place at 15:15 and the unknown person's transaction was done at 15:27. I demanded a call to the bank, to explain that I was wrongly accused of. The only response from the store's manager was, "sorry." I feel that the involvement of the two banks in this whole situation, where I was wrongly accused, is totally unacceptable, because there was NO PROOF AT ALL that it was me, when the woman from Mr Price Home, phoned the bank for my phone details.
