Hi Peter
On 27th June I came out of Checkers into the car park with my trolley and the front wheels of the trolley went into the channel between two of the concrete slabs. My trolley tipped over and I fell onto it damaging both my knees. The other concrete slabs to my left had a metal bridge between them which was missing on my side, the right. Both my knees were badly bruised but my right knee still isn't healing. I cannot walk far without pain and every now and then my knee caves in. I only went to Dischem to get medication for the bruising and swelling as I don't have a medical aid and have only just found a permanent job, however it also doesn't offer a medical aid either. I would appreciate some sort of compensation for this accident due to a very dangerous surface in your car park. Even if its only a Northgate Voucher, at least I can then save some of my grocery money to go and see a doctor. I have no idea what the damage to my knee is and whether I will need further treatment but I will keep you informed and let you speak to the doctor yourself should any further treatment be deemed necessary.
Called it all alleged.
Yours sincerely
