I visited Shoprite in Hill Street Pinetown on Saturday 27 July. I have never heard a cashier complain infront of a customer about how slow customers are shopping as she was tired. With no greeting and a grumpy face I said a hellow to Precious and asked if someone had worried her. I paid using my debit card but referred to a cashier next door. I was packing as well since I did not want any plastic bags. Two packers were standing and yepping stories whilst I juggled between a cashier who is forcing me to withdraw cash, which I refused to do since I wanted to swipe my card for the goods. To my suprise another packer just commented but whispering that this thing is just the same." No it is not since I am the accountholder and should be serviced the way I want, I responded in anger." Instead of helping me put my grocery in the trolley they were busy enjoying the DISSERVICE. Shame on you Shoprite. You simply have a serious management problem who fail to train staff about customer service. I called & spoke to Imraan whom I emailed on [Email Removed] since I was promised a written apology which I demanded. I suppose a Lerato is still gonna contact after 1 week. You are clueless!!
