Follow on from my complaint last week, I can now tell you that Lynne Gordon from Carrol Boyes Head office here in Cape Town clearly knows a thing about customer service. not too long after my complaint report I got a call from Lynne, horrified by what I had said. I had my Vinegar bottle back the very next morning, hand delivered, with a beautiful orchid as an apology gift. It could have been anything or nothing but the fact that I got a phone call to apologise, a follow up phone call to find out if I got it back and then another follow up a week later, is totally impressive and goes a long way in restoring any faith in the company. I was in Canal Walk and went to see if my bottle had been delivered back and got an apology from the staff their. Told them it was in fact pathetic service, but Lynne, you trumped all!! Thank you again!!
