My friends and i purchased a top end luxury apartment from Lynne Estates in sandton. we were assured of the quality of the purchase and investment.
we have had never ending problems with this 'investment' literally from the day transfer took place.
We have lost several tenants due to leaking pipes which has caused mould and fungus. This has cost us hundreds of thousands of rands in lost rental income.
Several years on they refuse to help and during a recent meeting with owners to discuss the leaking pipes and faulty electricity meters Lynne herself arrived with a lawyer in order to protect her interests.
despite properties being obviously faulty and inferior Lynne estates continued to sell such apartments to many other people who were led to believe that they were buying into a solid blue chip investment.
we are now unable to sell the unit for a fair price as the reputation of the complex is in tatters and we have been told by our managing agent that the costs involved in repairing the units will run into millions.
DONT BUY FROM LYNNE ESTATES.
