Boots lasted only two months

I bought a pair of winter ankle boots in May at Edgars. I hoped they would last the winter. Within 2 weeks they were coming apart at the toes and on the soles. I had them repaired putting new toes over them plus resoling them. Now only two months later the one shoe has completely disintegrated and the other has a hole in the sole and two holes above the heel. These shoes are basically cardboard.
