I have been a Tsonga supporter for many years. They used to be the most comfortable, durable boots one could find anywhere and I made sure to buy a pair every winter for the past 7 years. HOWEVER - The last pair I bought was just not of the same quality. The lining is of a more synthetic-blend material. The soles don't last past one winter. I tried a pair on yesterday at a shop in Canal Walk and the inner sole actually came out when I pulled the boot off. Clearly (and I should know) the quality is not of the same standard it used to be yet they now charge R1400 for a pair??! I don't know where I'll find a pair of boots for this winter but it will definitely not be Tsongas!!!
