Unfortunately up to this point, I haven't really been a Pep customer. I did however buy toys for a function there a while ago and with a slightly bigger function coming up, I thought I would get it from Pep again as they were the cheapest of all the stores. Unfortunately, none of the branches I phoned had any stock of the item I was looking for. I decided to phone head office where I spoke to an incredibly friendly Luzaan. She was attentive and helpful and even though they were very busy with budgets etc., said she will help me. Less than a day later she confirmed with me which branch had stock, where they are based, what the code is, who the manager is etc. We phoned Merle at the Church street branch who said she will find the items as it's not on the floor, but she sees it on the system. Again, with a smile. Because my mom works quite close to the store she went and had a look and all she kept telling me is how friendly Merle is. She said she was helpful and nice and really a pleasure to deal with. My whole experience with the people at Pep was a pleasure and I will definitely view the store in a different light. Cheap and helpful! Great combo.
