Over the last 6 months i have literally wasted hundreds of rands on food bought from woolworths that was either out of date, off, or the packaging was open and damaged. Woolworths pride themselves on quality, and they aren't the cheapest shop around, so when i spend my hard earned money at their shop, only to get home to find out the lamb i bought was off, the baby food (fresh) was out of date and my salad was open, i find that unacceptable. i have complained in store, via email and over the phone over the last 6 months, and nothing has been done. The lamb i bought was so off i had to throw it away because of the smell. When i went in store to tell the manager they didn't even offer to replace it. I swipe my card when i buy goods, so surely what i buy should always be on record. over the last 6 months there have been around 15 products that i bought, only to find out that something has been wrong with it, and its landed up in the bin. I cant do anything about the money already wasted, but i can choose NEVER to shop at Woolworths again, i never have this problem at pick n pay or spar. I used to love Woolworths, this is so disappointing.
