I had purchased a Wonder Chef from the Homemark at Lakeside Mall in May 2013 for my mother. She had used the product a week after I bought it, thus not within the 7 day money back period. The product was slow from the first day used, but she decided to continue using it, thinking it was probably certain meals that would be slow. The second time used it took three hours to roast chicken. We then returned it on Wednesday 17 July but were told it is now out of stock thus it CANNOT be replaced and we CANNOT get a refund. The lady simply told me to purchase something else to the value of R900.00. This I find absolutely ridiculous, that I now have to buy something I am not interested in and something that does not serve the same purpose as the Wonder Chef, which does not make any sense. The only thing I believe I am entitled to is a refund. There is no response on the customer care line, I have been calling for two days now. This kind of service is unacceptable, because I was given no other option than to purchase something else. If I wanted something else I would not have purchased a WONDER CHEF.
