I have recently noted that there is an Indian guy as well as a white guy that stands outside Spar every evening approaching people to buy them something or give them money. About 3 months ago my fiance and I were at a till paying for our groceries and was approached by this Indian gentleman to buy him food. As we exited the shop, we was then approached by the white guy for money.
Now it seems coming to Spar (we at Spar daily to buy bread) we are been bombarded by these "beggars". I have witnessed them doing this to many other patrons of Spar as well. They even have the audacity to follow people into Spar and insist that they give them money.
Patrons come in to buy their necessities and with the current economic crisis we can not afford to buy food / give money to people who are clearly fit to work.
I have no idea why management and staff have not done anything about these guys as yet.
They there so often that yesterday this Indian guy was having a jolly conversation with your employee at the parcel counter as well as the ladies at the ice cream section.
I'm appalled that Spar as not done anything as yet about these guys because clearly they are becoming a nuisance.
