I went to Vangate PnP to buy some baby hake as PnP sells the best fish. Firstly there was nobody at the fish counter and I had to call out for someone. I waited for about 5 minutes and then a lady eventually came. I then ordered baby hake and asked for it to be filleted and I was told that it cannot be filleted and that I had to take one of the frozen pre-packs. I then told her that this is the first PnP that does not fillet fish and she smiled and said that she would find out if she could. She went away and came back soon after insisting that she could not fillet the fish. What makes Vangate different to other stores like Plumstead and Constantia that fillet baby hake? The service really stinks at Vangate PnP!
