Poor Customer Service at Carnival Mall Edgars

I received an expensive Guess watch R2295 as a gift on Sat 13/07. It was gold & since I dont wear gold I wanted to exchange it for a different colour. I went to Edgars at Carnival Mall where the watch was purchased from to return/exchange it. I went with my boyfriend who had purchased the watch for me on his Edgars account. We waited at the jewellery counter for 20mins. No one attended to us. Eventually my boyfriend went to get help. Elvis, an employee at Edgars refused to accept the watch. It was not worn, brand new in the box with the plastic still on & we had the receipt. He said they do not return jewellery. He was rude & imcompetent & extremely disrespectful. He disappeared with the watch for 10mins leaving us at the counter only to return to refuse to exchange it because Edagrs do not accept returns on watches. After the pathetic customer service received we went to Edagrs at EastRand mall where we were helped by a cashier and manager immediately with no hassles and with a friendly attitude. The service receieved at Carnival was shocking and pathetic and this is the second time we received poor service at carnival and i will never walk into that Edgars ever again!! Disgusting
