I purchased a dining room set and a few other items at Wetherlys Fourways. I get to the till to pay and no one really knows how to use the card machine. So I get told to please pay online and email proof of payment. I obliged and made electronic payment the next day and emailed proof of payment. I get my delivery a week later except the dining room table is missing.

I get told that the "dining room table is damaged and the guys at the warehouse will nail it together for me". Now I know I did not just spend R 16000 for someone to nail a broken table together and deliver it to me.

Then I follow up with Jameel the sales man and he says the exact same thing we will fix the broken table and deliver next week. I say to him I refuse to accept delivery of a broken item being fixed by someone in a warehouse and then he says ok fine then you must wait 4-6 weeks for a new table. So I pay cash in June and I will get my item in September. IS THIS EVEN LEGIT OR REMOTELY SENSIBLE.

From the list of complaints on Hello Peter, I can safely say I am not the only one this has happened to. Wetherlys offers premium prices goods coupled with poor quality product and non existent customer service.
