I had an account with Furn city now called Ellerines. I was then handend over to the attorney for not paying. I have now settled the account on the 07 July 2011, got a letter from the attorneys confirming this and removed this on my ITC report. I was shocked when i started getting calls from another firm of attorney's to collect for the same account. I sent them the letter I got stating that the matter was resolved, i then went to the Cape town office where i had opened this account and on their system it showed that I owed, they then faxed the letter to their collection and legal department. I then followed up with the legal department to check if they have received the letter & closed the matter but to date I still owe. What is frustrating is that you cannot speak to the same consultant you spoke to and i am worried that i will be lsited now again for this.
Please assist me, I need this resolved and finalised
