In Sep '12, I had ordered furniture from Furniture City Parkmeadows (FCP). The deal was on credit. Some of the items were brought, & I refused them, as I had informed FC that I will only accept delivery once ALL items ordered were delivered. This is because, at the end of the month money was to be deducted for all the items & I had no surety as to when & if I would receive the other items. 2 months later, after hearing nothing from FCP, I received an sms stating my 1st payment was due on 30 Nov '12. I phoned Peter (FCP manager) & told him to cancel the contract as it had taken FCP 2 months to deliver. He told me that he had. on 30 Nov & 31 Dec, money was deducted from my account. Both these were reversed. I've made phonecalls to Peter, FC head office, African Bank (AB) to remove me from their system as I received NO furniture & they were destroying my credit rating. I had to lodge a complaint with AB Ombudsman, & they informed me that the problem was with the warehouse. I was assured that I will be removed. Today FC (21 Jan '13) sent me an sms saying I should pay them or be send to legal. What money do I owe??
