Today I went to the branch in Malibongwe drive to get some adhesive. However, I was ignored by staff chatting with their mates. I spent 15 minutes in the store trying to find something and one staff member, pushing a trolley waited for me to move out of the way, but did not say a word to me. I did not find the adhesive I was looking for so went to look for something else. Four staff members walked passed me without a word. eventually after being ignored by all the staff I walked towards the manager's office and asked if he was the manager. He merely nodded. I told him that his staff was useless and unhelpful and then left.
What is it about supermarkets that the staff think they can ignore customers? These huge warehouses full of stuff are a wonderful idea if only they can be run by people who actually serve their customers.
