SMS HARASSMENT CONTINUES

After several emails to Edgars customer care and two Hello Peter complaints - the last of which I received the below reply and reference number, confirming that no more smses would be sent after 3rd July. GUESS WHAT. My father has JUST received yet another sms - it's the 4th of July. I have been trying to stop this since May 2013 Are customers just not allowed to stop this even thought the consumer protection act is supposed to disallow companies to do this. Am I now allowed to go to a lawyer and sue Edgars for this harrassment - because that is my next step!

RECEIVED FROM EDGARS ON HELLO PETER A WEEK AGO
As per our telephonic discussion thank you for providing us with your fathers contact number we have investigated in regards to your father receiving our marketing material. I assure you his details have been removed from our data base and he will stop receiving sms by the 03/07/2013 as our promotions are done in advance. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience and frustration caused. Your reference number is 2806130212/GO
