My husband had an account with Truworths for almost a year. To date he never received a truworths card or statement. We religiously pay our accounts as per our statements. My husband made a few purchases but with every purchase we had drama about identification due to him using the temporary paper card. Over the last couple of months we received a couple of sms's requesting outstanding payment but every time we go into the store to get a statement we get drama about why we are using a paper card etc. Also, no-one can furnish us with proper information on the account.By the 4th of January I placed a call to the call centre en-quiring about exactly what the problem was. A very nice gentlemen explained that correspondence is being returned to them unopened. I express my concern about the account and he promised that we will get the detail soonest as he will resend the card and statements to the correct address immediately. I informed him that we will sort out the account as soon as we receive a statement. On the 18th of January I called again after no feedback and spoke to an extremely rude consultant.
