Account Paid Up, But Handed Over To Debt Collecto

I settled my Jet stores account and asked the teller at the sandton branch to please email me a paid up letter. Im yet to receive a letter showing that my account is paid up and I'm being harassed by debt collectors for payment! This account is reflecting badly on my credit report and making it difficult for me to move on with my life.
