Terrible service

I bought a cheetah braai for my husband for fathers day, when he opened it the lid was rusted, and after assembling it the lid doesn't close properly. I informed Kalahari about this but they want their courier to come and collect it take it back to them test it (I don't know what they need to test) and then decide whether or not they will replace it... how long will this take??? Meantime we moved and I know they don't deliver via courier in this town, I asked about this but haven't received any feedback bout this. I emailed them a photo showing the rusted lid, what would have been acceptable would be if they send me a new one with their courier and take the old one back, but now they have to test it and then say they will then replace or fix it, I don't want that thing back, they will probably just respray it, and send it back to me, why could they not make sure the thing was right in the first place? Now they expect me to hand it which was a present for my husband back to them without saying how long, and again I want one without rust, not the damaged one "fixed". We haven't used it, it is their responsibility to replace it. It is damaged not Defective or Faulty! (D Drotsky)
