Defy appliance purchase - unreturned calls, delays

In the last week of April I called House & Home Tokai about purchasing a Defy DDW168 dishwasher (silver finish), that, according to the website, was in stock. Unfortunately, the store did not have stock but said they should receive stock the following week. I was told to register my details to secure a promotion price, as the offer ended in May, and that I would be called in a few days.By the middle of the following week I had heard nothing so called and was told there was a delay but the dishwasher should arrive in 3 weeks. I was told that in the event they couldn't supply, the buyer would find an alternative at the same price. I left it at that and after more than 3 weeks wait, I decided to ring the store again for an update as no one had contacted me. I was told that Defy were having production issues and I must wait but would be called the following week. After no follow-up yet again, I called and was told that Defy actually imported this model and were no longer intending to. I was told to wait until the buyer could find a suitable alternative. After having to call yet again days later, I was told the buyer could only supply the white one (I was clear that I needed silver).
