I had a call two days ago from Edgars call centre while i was at a funeral. To my shock they told me that im owing R9000.00 rand on my account. I asked them how could i be owing as i dont have any accounts with you as i closed this account /- 21 years ago. I went to Edgars yesterday to query about this i found that two accounts were opened with my first two names and a different Surname and same ID. however the other account has my "so called account number" with no ID Number. How can an account profile exist with no ID Number??? Im absolutely furious as IM LISTED ON ITC with an account that is not even mine.
At the Edgars branch i spoke to the Edgars Attorneys MBD and they advised that my case is not the only one. They also mentioned that this is Internal. This matter needs to be resolved and my name be romoved on ITC.
