Green Cross
Inferior quality

I bought a pair Green Cross shoes (style number 51304, price R819) from the Blue Route branch on 13 April 2013.
I wore these shoes ONLY THREE TIMES and it showed noticeable sole wear, so I returned it to the same branch on 1 June 2013 (with goods uplift advice number 109681). The attendant (apparently the manager) at this shop was quite rude and informed me that was 'normal wear pattern for my foot'. She reluctantly agreed to send the shoes off when I pointed out (several times) that the shoes had been worn ONLY THREE TIMES. This was NOT noted on the goods uplift advice slip.
On Friday (7 June) I received a call from the Blue Route branch to inform me of the outcome: I will not receive a refund or a replacement as the shoes show 'normal wear'. If normal wear after three times looks like that, the quality is beyond inferior!
I have bought six pairs of Green Cross shoes over a period of less than two years, no pair for less than R500, and I have not had a problem with any of these shoes. However, in light of this incident, I shall NEVER purchase Green Cross shoes again. I have no wish to further engage with incompetent staff but I do want a REFUND.
