Good day, A few months ago i purchased items from lewis, unaware that i will have problems at work. when i realised that i cannot pay my account as arranged, i went to the branch with R800.00 instead of a R1000.00 installment to pay and some white old lady in the accounts department said to me she will not accept it, i need to make a plan, which i could nt. A month later i lost my job and could not pay, i ve received endless calls regarding the account, which i kept on telling lewis i have a part time, i barely make R 2000 a month, I was told i have an attitude because i refused to agree to an arrangement i know its impossible, i was advised to pay a R 1000.00 on the account to prevent them from repossessing my goods, which i did, after paying the amount, 2 days later they kept on pestering me to come and pay another R 3000.00 immediately which i could not. now i got a full time job and i m being told that they will only accept the out standing balance not anything less than that. I mean where will i get money? they should be happy that i am not quiet, i am making means to pay. Can any one advise where can i take the matter to, i feel as a consumer i am treated unfail
