About a month ago my friend and I visited PnP Gelngarry and she saw some comforters and matching pillowcases on special. Since winter is almost apon us, she decided to get one. They were just over R100 for a set.
One month later and the comforter itself looks old and faded. it has been washed twice, but so was the pillow cases and they still look remarkably new. The fabric of which the comforter is made of also seems thin and "weak" and there are several "runs' in the fabric.
This is absolutely shocking and completely unecceptable.
My friend says that she didn't keep the receipt and will probably not be reimbursed for the poor quality product, but I disagree.
I believe that the comforters were on promotion due to the poor quality and i believe that Pick & Pay should be ashamed of selling poor quality items at a reduced price without letting the customer know!
I must actually take the item to the store manager and show him. We shop there on a regulat basis since we live right across the mall and we have become acquintences with the management team. I am sure they will agree with my disappointment in the product.
