I am a pensioner who purchased a lounge suite from Beares Chatsworth in August 2012. I notified the store in December that the lounge set squeaked every time someone sat. Upon removal of the lounge set from my home in the 1st week of April the guy removing it damaged the right side of the 3 seater. I reported this and the lounge set came back from repairs the damaged caused by the removal guys was still not fixed. I contacted the store and customer service. Earlier this week I was told that the damaged portion will be re-upholstered and they will not replace my lounge set. Which I am absolutely upset about. The lounge set was under 6 months old and I experienced problems with it then it is damaged by the collection guys sent by Beares and I have to pay R6000 for a damaged lounge set which will be partially upholstered!!!
