I Recently went through some tough times financially and as a result missed a number of payments on my Edgards clothing account. As a result of this my account was given over to some collection agency in Cape Town and in December I settled my in areas fee with them as in normal procedure.

I can understand that I was listed as a slow payer because of this and I am fully aware of the fact that I'm now going to have a very hard time getting any sort of credit in future. But my problem comes in with the fact that in December I settled my in areas fee of R3900.00 (after I was advised it was only R3200.00 2 days before I paid that amount), after paying this amount I asked repeatedly if this would be the final amount including the latest Edgards installment so that I could start on a clean slate in January. I was repeatedly advised that this is the case and that my next payment would be R640.00 in January.

I have now paid R640.00 on the 15th, only to find out that I'm actually one payment behind, meaning that until I pay another R640.00 I will be seen as NOT paying my Edgards until I pay another installment.

After speaking to at least 4 people I still have no solution!
