I bought the weekends groceries on Friday afternoon at Pick 'n Pay in Irene Mall. Only when I arrived home did I see that they overcharged me on two packs of prawns - by R1999.98! I immediately drove back to the store, showing them the slip where they overcharged me. The lady at information put through a Refund Transaction for the R1999.98.
On Saturday the money was still not reflecting in my account, and when I went back to the store (again, driving all the way to Irene Mall), they said that it will take up to 24 hours for the money to be refunded.
I've been very patient now for 5 days. I still have not received my refund. The original amount that I paid for the groceries immediately went off from my account. Why then does it take 5 days to refund me for a fault on your side?
This is unacceptable. I cannot drive to Pick 'n Pay every day to enquire about this.
