I was badly needing a new pair of work shoes. I came across Stuttafords in Canal Walk and noticed they were having a 25% off sale on men's shoes. How nice.
I stood by the men's shoe section which was badly stocked. After 5 minutes with not a sales person in site (please note, the store was pretty empty, I can see why), I decided to go look for one, there was a group of them all having a fat chat. When I asked for help they laughed at me. What the!? Eventually one of them did help. The shoes I needed were at the back. She got the ones I needed, and I was ready to go. At check out they tried to only give me 15% off. They had to call the manger to give the actual 25% off. This whole procedure took 15 minutes.
I noticed before purchase that the shoes had scuff marks on them. The manager said he can not do anything about it on a discounted shoe, which was a as I saw him apply discount on the system. So basically it feels like I got a discount on a 2nd pair of shoes. Well done guys. Absolutely shocking. I really will not go back again. Transaction number. 0000012116000008124
