I made a appointment for my son to have has 10 week injections at the Clinic and was informed by Sister Adams that they have state stock so I would only have to pay R 45.00 for the consultation. My husband arrived at the clinic now and was informed by Sister Summers that we need to pay/submit to medical aid for the injections as we have a medical aid and that the state stock is for less privileged people but however if the claim was rejected by the medical aid she will use state stock. I find this very unproffessional and I feel that I get discriminated against for having a mediacl aid. Why if I go to the state clinics they don't have a problem with doing this injections. This week a article was published in DIE BURGER where parents were urged to take their children for scheduled vaccines and that CLICKS was working with the Government and will be assisting parents with this vaccines. I am really disgusted in this service that I have received and will be informing friends, famaily and work colleagues about this service received. To be discriminated against having a medical aid - it is pathetic.
