I am really very disappointed and disgusted by what i saw yesterday.
Yesterday evening (09/05/2013 about 18:15) as I do every evening I went to my local checkers. As I was walking through the isles I noticed the front of house manager scolding one of the staff members. Telling Him and i quote. "Leave and don't come back" in front of customers, a Clear disregard for work Place etiquette and procedure.
I don't think I will be able to support checkers if this is the way you treat your staff. I choose checkers because we receive great service and products and the personnel are always friendly and accommodating. But if this is the in house procedure i will take my business to the Pick 'n Pay next door.
If a member of staff does not work according I believe they should be disciplined. In a Board Room or office not in front of customers. and the way he treated and spoke with the packer, I wouldn't even speak to a dog that way.
I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident that wont be repeated.
