I purchased a Garmin GPS from Cape Union Mart adventure centre at Canal Walk during a recent trip to Cape Town from Mossel Bay. During use of the GPS on my vehicles and a motorcycle trip through Namibia I found that the GPS would switch off for no apparent reason.
I happened to be in Cape Town for the Bon Jovi concert on Tuesday and popped into the shop for a few purchases again and decided to discuss the GPS issue with Kyle, who was the salesperson when I orginally purchased the GPS.
He went out of his way to investigate, test and eventually search for a compatable replacement cable, which I was given free of charge.
Well done Kyle for going the extra mile for a customer. You are an asset.
P.S. It is a pleasure to shop at this store as service is obviously the key to success. All of the salespersons were very friendly and a few had a really good sense of humour to brighten anyone's day.
