On 22/03/2013 i purchased a blu-ray dvd from Takealot on order number 1094868. When i sat down to view the dvd a week or so later, the quality was so poor, i could only watch less than 10 minutes of the dvd. I contacted Takealot who then collected the dvd for 'testing'. a short while later i was informed that the dvd was 'tested' and found to have nothing wrong with it and so will be returned to me. I have been in contact with the a number of production houses including Warner Bros. who have informed me that the dvd sounds to be counterfeit. i am not sure what the 'testing' process at Takealot involves but i would suggest they get some sort of quality control in place as i have hundreds of blu-ray discs and none of them are of a quality near as bad as what i received on this dvd from Takealot. I have spent many many thousands of Rands with Takealot but this experience has made me rethink where i purchase my goods. Quality is of great importance to me.
