25 YEARS OF LOYALTY - NO SUPPORT FROM EDGARS

Hi, my salary is paid over by my employer and not a payroll co. via eft. He is with absa and I am with Nedbank. He normaly pays us on the last day of the month. But if that day falls on a public holiday or weekend, there is a delay, plus it takes two days from Absa to Nedbank. If he is over seas then our salaries come in even later.

I made two phone calls to Edgars and understand their explanation that there is a system in place and a cut off date therefore I was charged R43.98 late fee. I made another payment today (which I can email to someone), again late and asked if someone has the authority to reverse these late fees, as this is not the norm, they can clearly see from my history that I'm a good and regular paying and spend thousands of rands at Edgars, since I was 20 years old and I'm now 45 and even participate in their customer panel. Life isn't always as cut and dried as we would like it to be. Corporate companies must realise there is a human element that also needs to be considered and exceptions should be made based on merit. I am seriously considering closing this account as I dont have this problem with Friedman & Cohen. Thank you.
