Acc: 013250-19 I got a phone call 6/5/13 from a law firm stating they act on behalf of OK! I bought a tv (mom - on her name) paid numerous cash payments! On 5 Feb 11 R2500.32 as an advance payment - and confirmed with ok randfontein that it would be "an advance" payment credit to be reflecting on the following months. I paid again 1600 in October 2011 and thereafter payments eft and cash adding up to R5100 not to mention the amounts paid before the payment in Feb 2011!! After I asked them if it will show as a credit for the following months, they added so much interest that beforer the next payment of R1600 (the outstanding was all of a sudden R5673.98 - was R3882.58 when I paid R2500.32!!! After R1600 payment during october 2011, "outstanding was" R4073.98!!! I made payment during november, december 11 and jan 12 amount of R850 outstanding then R3825.07!??? Since then R4250 paid and still "outstanding" R1500??? And want to take the tv??? I made arrangements for payment (less amount during 2012 already) and pay every month as much as I can! I'm not a won't lie, yet this happens to a consumer?? Consumers act does not apply clearly!! I never received a summons?
