REFUSING TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM BOUGHT A DAY EARLIER

I bought my son a skinny jeans as part of his birthday gifts at Vangate Mall after work (approximately 5pm) on Thursday the 2nd May 2013. When I got home my son fitted the jeans on only to find its too small. In his excitedness he took the tag off before putting the pants on. I took the jeans with me to work the next day as I was going to change it after work. I went to Westgate Mall Edgars after work which was 3rd May 2013 and the store manager, Nadine Engelbrecht inspected the jeans turning it inside and out. She had this attitude about her that she was looking for a reason not to take the pants back. She asked if I washed it, I said no it was bought the night before how could I have washed it if I worked the next day and came there straight after. She insisted that the pants was washed and refused to exchange it for a bigger size. I was appalled and disgusted at this lack of service and her lack of knowledge of the Consumer Act. How can you not exchange a jeans a day later!!! I am extremely unhappy with the service I received from her and I will definitely take this matter as far as I possibly can even to the media as I will NOT stand for this type of service from EDGARS!!!
